OUR MOST IMPORTANT WORK LIES AHEAD

    • Ensure budget decisions are strategic, reflect the community's values, and meet the needs of students.

    • Include the voices of students, families, teachers, staff, and the community in setting direction for our schools.

    • Advocate for additional funding for Melrose students.

    • Work now with the community to recruit, hire, and keep a superintendent who is the right fit for Melrose and committed to building for the long term.

    • Invest in talent at all levels to stabilize our schools, retain great educators, and build a stronger future.

    • Uplift the great teaching and learning that happen every day and build mutual trust among stakeholders.

    • Build a culture in Melrose Public Schools where every student feels welcome, valued, and safe, especially the most vulnerable.

    • Prioritize fully staffing special education services that meet the needs of every student.

    • Recognize that student needs evolve and work with stakeholders to understand and address these changing needs.
